Azeroth Survivors Build Examples
Follow a community talent direction, then adapt to the cards and equipment you actually find.
Choose a direction that fits your class and available points. The Warrior, Paladin and Mage plans below are community 31-point examples updated October 29, 2026; their exact client version is not stated. They are not proven optimal or verified against v0.130.0. Read the current talent tree and prerequisites before spending points.
Each sequence gives ranks and cumulative points. The source does not prescribe an exact allocation for the remaining 20 points; do not assume the list is a complete 51-point build.
Fury Warrior: Whirlwind and sustain
Start with Cleave, then improve Whirlwind’s damage, area and cooldown when offered. The community plan describes Bladestorm starting Whirlwind and repeating it every 3 seconds, Rampage adding one per 7 kills, and Flurry repeating Whirlwind and Bloodthirst at 40% damage. Blood Craze adds sustain. These are the source’s version-unspecified values; check your current tooltips. Against a lone boss, kill-triggered effects depend on additional enemies, so keep moving and use your regular attacks and cooldowns. If melee damage is overwhelming you, choose survival before adding more damage.
Community Warrior plan, updated October 29, 2026; exact game version unspecified.
Suggested 31-point order
- Cruelty 5/5 (5 points total)
- Bloodlust 5/5 (10)
- Rampage 1/1 (11)
- Improved Cleave 3/3 (14)
- Improved Battle Shout 1/3 (15)
- Improved Whirlwind 3/3 (18)
- Dual Wield Specialization 2/5 (20)
- Flurry 1/1 (21)
- Death Wish 3/3 (24)
- Dual Wield Specialization 3/5 (25)
- Blood Craze 3/3 (28)
- Dual Wield Specialization 5/5 (30)
- Bladestorm 1/1 (31)
The source suggests survivability, critical damage and cooldown reduction afterward, without a fixed remaining order. Lifesteal and defensive rings are optional opportunities, not guaranteed drops.
Protection Paladin: Hammer, Consecration and shields
Use Consecration early. The community plan connects Hallowed Ground, Hammer of Justice and Consecration, then uses Ardent Defender and Hammer of the Righteous to support shields and health scaling. The source describes Hallowed Ground triggering Consecration from Hammer of Justice with a 4-second limit; check the current tooltip. Move away from heavy hits even when the build is active; a defensive setup does not make you invulnerable.
Community Paladin plan, updated October 29, 2026; exact game version unspecified.
Suggested 31-point order
- Improved Devotion Aura 5/5 (5 points total)
- Redoubt 5/5 (10)
- Hallowed Ground 1/1 (11)
- Improved Consecration 3/3 (14)
- Spiritual Attunement 3/3 (17)
- Weighted Hammer 3/3 (20)
- Ardent Defender 1/1 (21)
- Improved Hammer of Justice 3/3 (24)
- Blessed Life 3/3 (27)
- Divine Intervention 1/1 (28)
- Sacred Duty 2/3 (30)
- Hammer of the Righteous 1/1 (31)
After the core, the source prioritizes health and cooldown reduction, with healing if needed; it does not specify all remaining points. Holy Shield and Divine Shield are possible defensive choices rather than guaranteed offers.
Holy Shield alternative
A separate secondary account of a 14 October recording describes Holy Shield damaging attackers while damage reduction and healing support the character. Pick Holy Shield and its upgrades when offered, and avoid hits your health cannot sustain. If it does not appear, use the damage and survival choices available; the retaliation setup is incomplete. That recording’s exact investment and results are not a fresh-account guarantee, and we could not access the original video.
Fire Mage: critical hits and fire damage
Begin with Fireball, then choose compatible fire and critical-hit upgrades. Add Pyroblast and Flamestrike when offered. The community plan reports Ignite dealing 80% of a triggering fire critical over 4 seconds, Hot Streak granting a Pyroblast every fourth fire critical (up to twice a second), and Pyroclasm triggering explosions within 6 yards on fire kills (up to three per second). These values are not verified for the current client. A kill-dependent explosion contributes less against a lone boss, so maintain direct damage and room to move. Add healing or shields when survival is the problem.
Community Mage plan, updated October 29, 2026; exact game version unspecified.
Suggested 31-point order
- Improved Fireball 5/5 (5 points total)
- Impact 5/5 (10)
- Ignite 1/1 (11)
- Flame Throwing 2/2 (13)
- Improved Flamestrike 2/5 (15)
- Critical Mass 3/3 (18)
- Master of Elements 2/3 (20)
- Hot Streak 1/1 (21)
- Master of Elements 3/3 (22)
- Fire Power 3/5 (25)
- Burning Soul 3/3 (28)
- Fire Power 5/5 (30)
- Pyroclasm 1/1 (31)
After the core, cover healing and incoming damage before adding more critical and fire damage as needed. The source does not provide an exact allocation for the remaining 20 points.
Marksman Hunter: lifesteal, cooldowns, then damage
A secondary report of a 14 October Hunter recording gives this order for a developed character. It is a direction, not a fixed card sequence or fresh-account damage benchmark; we could not access the original video.
- Begin with Auto Shot on the fresh v0.90.0 menu while using the damage spells offered.
- Take a lifesteal ring or amulet when one is offered.
- Seek cooldown reduction, using a trinket or the cited ring alternative.
- Improve damage spells available in your run; Aimed Shot is central to this reported example. The source recommends progressing down Marksman toward Kill Shot.
Kill Shot changes the starting spell to Aimed Shot in the inspected v0.90.0 talent menu. If a desired item does not appear, keep improving your available damage and survival instead of assuming the full setup is active.
