Zones, bosses and unlocks

Find a final boss and the next reported zone, then check your current character's menu.

The original v0.130.0 selection screen showed Elwynn Forest available and Duskwood locked until Edwin VanCleef is defeated. Community sources report that later unlocks are tracked per class: a clear on one class may not open the same zone for another.

For example, choose Paladin and Elwynn, defeat VanCleef, then check Duskwood on that Paladin. If you switch classes, check that class’s own zone selection. The full route below is a dated community account, not a current-client playtest.

Reported zone order

For each row, defeat the named final boss to pursue the next zone. Azeroth Survivor Field Desk listed this chain while labeling its live client v0.127.0 and data v0.110.0. The v0.123.0 map study inferred its final two unlock links; check the current game for those locks.

The final-boss arrival times below are from the v0.124.0 community guide: 16:00 for the first four zones, 18:00 for the next four and 20:00 for the last four. Elwynn’s 16:00 was also visible in v0.130.0; the other times are not independently verified for that client.

  1. Elwynn Forest — final boss: Edwin VanCleef at 16:00 (reported arrival). Next: Duskwood.
  2. Duskwood — final boss: Morbent Fel at 16:00 (reported arrival). Next: Warsong Gulch.
  3. Warsong Gulch — final boss: Lord Kazzak at 16:00 (reported arrival). Next: Un'Goro Crater.
  4. Un'Goro Crater — final boss: King Mosh at 16:00 (reported arrival). Next: Arathi Basin.
  5. Arathi Basin — final boss: Lord Aliden Perenolde at 18:00 (reported arrival). Next: Feralas.
  6. Feralas — final boss: King Gordok at 18:00 (reported arrival). Next: Gurubashi Arena.

Elwynn boss arrivals

The original game showed these on its v0.130.0 selection screen on October 30, 2026. They are arrival times on the run clock, not guaranteed kill times or drops.

  • 3:00 — Hogger
  • 6:00 — Mother Fang
  • 9:00 — Rhahk'Zor
  • 12:00 — Mr. Smite
  • 16:00 — Edwin VanCleef

Keep moving and choose upgrades as they appear; balance coverage and survival before the later arrivals. The selection screen lists VanCleef as the Duskwood unlock condition, but these suggestions are not a guaranteed clear.

Later zone schedules

The v0.124.0 community guide reports Duskwood arrivals as Naraxis at 3:00, Mor'Ladim at 6:00, Stitches at 9:00, Lupos at 12:00 and Morbent Fel at 16:00. These later-zone times have not been checked against v0.130.0. Use the current zone menu if it differs, and do not mix this 12-zone route with a separate community rebuild.
